To be fair, I have been sporting a Nikko Stirling Diamond FFP for some time. As soon as I take off the elasticated caps, they go straight in my rifle case, and I close it. It takes probably less time to remove and fit them than it does to flip up two hinged caps. Horses for courses, I think.

How satisfied are you? How does it display for a distance of 200 or 300 meters from Nikko?

@@eg.42 Sorry, I have it on a 12 foot-pound air rifle. I'd have to point the rifle almost vertical to hit a target even 100 metres away. All I can say is that it's great up to 50 metres.

@@eg.42 Sorry, can't help you. Mine is a Nikko Stirling Diamond FFP 4-16 x 44 illuminated half mildot. Best scope I have ever had. I started out with Hawkes, and they're OK, but the Nikko is great.

A scope at this price and used Hex key for windage/elevation turret caps x 1 I'm new to scope s what is the hex key for?

Hi Jack Todd. The Hex Key is used for resetting the Turret back to Zero once you have completed Zero'ing the Rifle. Cheers, OPW

Will the Falcon stand on a springer better than the Nikko? I've heard the Nikko is good in recoil resistance.

I put a Falcon on my air rifle an quite simply it fell to bits, not the case with the Nkko

Shoot both the nikko is the better of the two...the lenses are clear...and it seems to be more rugged....

Hello Pete Crabby I do agree that the Nikko is a very good scope, the build/body of both scopes are incredibly similar so there should be no issues with ruggedness of the Falcon X50, most important with the sport is finding the scope that suits you best, and as you say the Nikko may well work better for you personally. Hi alfiere1984 personally we would not recommend the Sightron SV for field target use, however if you are looking at a 34mm tube scope suitable for field target take a look at the Delta Stryker 5-50x56, it is a very capable scope and suits field target perfectly. if you prefer to stick with Sightron then we would recommend the S111 field target model for this. @@OpticsWarehouse1 thanks for fast reply. I will wait your review to know why the SV Is not raccomanded. I have sightron FT and LR version and i love that scopes for fast focusing. I've tested Delta: great scope, good feeling, but slow focusing. I would like to belive that in the SV model i find the same characteristics as the SIII model but with more brightness and sharpness..:)
