It was not air soft, but LEO story. It was the first "shooting" I ever responded to. The dude got shot by a BB gun by some guy rolling through and it was stuck in his arm, dude then called the police saying he got shot. I tried sooooooo fucking hard not to laugh when we showed up on scene.

1:22 I work at an airsoft field (Mercer Airsoft Center in PA), and I highly recommend wearing something like “body armor”. Literally just a vest or something like that.

some people use actual plates, others use metal or foam. And regarding full auto most indoor ranges have no full auto, but it depends on the range. And last but not least if a BB gets stuck in someones skin rules where more than likely broken most commonly chrono range(the range in which you can or can not shoot with a gun)

When we played airsoft when it first came out in the early 2000’s as a cheaper alternative to paintball we ended up using ansi rated motorcycle goggles to ensure we didn’t get our eyes damaged. We didn’t want to mess up our paintball masks because I doubt they would’ve been rated for the psi that the white/green airsoft balls offer with their weight.

The worst airsoft injury ive seen was a guy take a taginn archangle (impact explosive round) to the nose and mess him up. No lie the guy was a badass. Took the round got the bleeding to stop bought new goggles and went back on the field and continued playing.

I have a personal brass BB behind my eye it somehow curved around my eye and if I wanted to get it out it would require removing my eye but I’ve had it in there for about 13 years now and still don’t have a problem with it other then when I get X-rays at the dentist
