Nikkor 14-24mm S Lens Unboxing & First Pics

Unboxing and using my new wide angle lens, the Nikkor 14-24 S lens! We're here at Horsfall Beach & Campgrounds to unbox and do an overview of this lens. I took it out on its first photo walk to document some local flooding and I was not disappointed! It's definitely a keeper!
In this video we tell you a bit about Horsfall Beach and the flooding from recent storms. We came here a couple days before filming and the water was across the road in some places. In this video the water has receded a bit but there were still many photos to be had.
Join us as we take this lens out on its first mission and learn about beautiful Horsfall Beach on the central Oregon coast.

The original 14-24 2.8 G on the F-Mount was stellar. And this one is just that much more special. Better corrected, lighter and such a must have for a wide angle.

Why not just get the 14-30mm f4 if you shoot mostly in day time and it has extra range too?

I plan on astro-photography which I am starting now. No, no photos to share just yet, I'm still learning the new lens and the clouds need to clear. The extra diaphragm opening of the 2.8 gives me more low light photo opportunities too.
