All Niko wanted for Christmas was a One Wheel Skateboard and I have been telling him not to get it because it is dangerous. Of course Niko got one, and he has been practicing on it everyday. But today something scary happened where he had a very bad accident and he fell off and bumped his head really hard on the ground. We are really worried now that he might have a concussion from the fall.

Cristal’s reaction was exactly what mine would have been. However, my little brother (19) has a one-wheel to travel around his college campus and he LOVES it. Hasn’t wiped out badly yet. I think where Niko went wrong was he was going too fast with too little practice! More practice and baby steps is the key! Hoping for a quick recovery for you! Love you CHAMILY

Not gonna lie I’ve been really wanting a One Wheel myself 😅 My partner travels a lot because he works in the music industry and it is an insanely common thing that they all have and ride around between artist sets and most of the artists have them as well. I don’t see an issue with the One Wheel itself because it’s very similar to a skateboard in a lot of ways, BUT most people that use a One Wheel wear helmets and don’t push their limits until they are comfortable on it first. You just have to be smart. It’s like going from a bicycle to a motorcycle, and you don’t go crazy and max out rpm’s when you first get your motorcycle 💁🏼‍♀️ Stay safe Niko and be smart 🥰
