If the motor runs look for a replacement front end. The rest of the camper seems to be in great shape.

Things to do list... 1. You can use baking soda with Lysol neutralizer into a bucket of warm/hot water to clean and neutralize the fridge. 2. Keep the RV project and fix the front.

Start with the engine. See what you find and then assess from there. I guess it’s a matter what it would be worth in good condition! Love your vids!!

About 20 years ago I can remember flying out to Michigan on a $150.00 buddy pass and driving out to Copart in a rental. The Copart truck (Silverado) ran good so we drove out to the Copart located in New Jersey to pick up a Yukon (none runner) so I rented a tow dolly for $600 one way to Los Angeles to save money. Your father helped you guys a lot, give him a big hug for me.

@garyammerman21532 жыл бұрын
I think you have to dig a little deeper before your commit to fixing. If you have a good engine/tranny and drive lines, then you should prob commit to fixing. Looks like $20K at least to fix but that could put $20K in your pockets. Good luck; we're with you regardless of decision.

Generator easily goes for $4500. You'd be $2500 to the good. It could be a job to fix, might be a good parts camper. I definitely see what all works before making a decision on which direction to go.

Great price. The parts alone will make you a good profit.

id like to see start attempts of both engines , also (even if smashed) i would like to see if anything of the front dash like touchscreen radio survived
@RatherBeRestoring2 жыл бұрын
what a steal!! Like you said most people don’t have the man power and/or a vehicle big enough to haul it home and it would cost a small fortune to pay a company to haul it if you could even find one..given y’all had to swap the rear outer wheels to the front just to get it rolling, etc..Keep snatching them up at that price because that generator alone is worth so much more than you paid total as you know.

That is an entry level motor home. To restore it will be a lot of work. Not sure of it's value once its repaired? Would be a good basic rig for someone. Have to run the numbers once you investigate further. For the price it's a winner for parts alone!

Well you have an engine if needed. You paid 2k fix it you can't loose on the deal. With the way used prices have went up and the workmanship you do with knowledge I'd think you come way ahead and make money on the fix.
@pupbiking2 жыл бұрын
actually like the idea of one guy make it into a little house enclose the front take engine out increase the square footage you could make a tow hitch on the front to get it to its location crazy idea but it would work
@rhiantaylor34462 жыл бұрын
Fixing the front would cost $$ but, if the engine/trans work, the end result could make a good profit, unless you think the many good parts such as slide-outs would have value if you part it out. I suspect the best way to maximise the value of the good parts is to sell it as a fixed RV or as a fixer-upper.
