I truly believe that this season is some sort of good vs evil prevailing moment for the NBA. The days of the league being held hostage by the marketing machine of a colluding, travelling, stiff arming, flopping moron with 0 basketball IQ are over. No longer will hood, ghetto BS be celebrated, we've got a genuine nice guy in Jokic who understands that he's in a very privileged position to be paid millions for bouncing a ball and acts as such. No ego, no thug life, just good, quality basketball. I have high hopes for the future of my game.

Having a lot of sexual partners before marriage isn't wrong nor immoral. In order for behavior to be immoral it needs to have negative effect on society. If everyone has a lot of sexual partners before marriage and uses contraceptives there are no unwanted pregnancies, no spreading of diseases, there is no negative effect on society.
@daddyfuse50
@daddyfuse50 Жыл бұрын
Lol condoms in no way prevent the spread of STDs consistently enough. Not to mention the immorality of sexual partners is almost always tied to drinking. One-night stands dead sober are rare, and while drinking the responsibility of using contraception plummets. STDs are at an all-time high, while condoms are abundant, cheap, and often free - drunk, lustful people often dont care. This isnt even touching on homosexuality, which comes with even less concern for safety, and the a spread of disease that is exponentially higher, and more damaging. Even "committed" partners, which statistically hardly even exist in homosexuals, have 100s of partners. Morality matters, and has been completely disregarded by fools who believe themselves wise or "enlightened". To OPs point, damn right. Ghetto trash being celebrated in the NBA is disgusting, and sets a terrible example for kids who watch. Of course, this problem is far-reaching and applies to almost every avenue of entertainment. Whats sad is many people read this, and instantly think you mean black people, or culture, which really says more about them.

@@student99bg "In order for behavior to be immoral it needs to have negative effect on society. " That's not quite how morals go; society is where _ethics_ come into play. Hopefully it can help to shrink the proportion of absurd GSW-alikes, too. So f*cking tired of coaches spamming actions where players that have no business jacking up 3s doing so every game/half/quarter. I"m afraid it wont happen until the line is moved back at least a foot, though. Run the damn thing out of bounds if that's what it takes to restore quality hoops! p.s. sorry for swearing - I've spent $20K+ on season tickets in the '00s but I haven't been to a game in over 5 years.

The nuggets got to keep brown and Gordon when their contracts are up…. I’m borderline on porter…Gordon has had like 2-3 clutch games in this playoffs when Murray has struggled abit

Excuse me, 14 points advantage (FOURTEEN; FIVE possession game assuming Heat making threes and Nuggets keep missing) with 1:22 left in the game, can anyone please explain to me how the hell is the basket making it 17 points advantage 'clutch' ?!?!? Honestly I don't understand.
