0:17 i mean he’s won 3 out of the last 4 mvp, & he just won a ring a few yrs ago so that combined with him again having an even better year makes it pretty clear he’s the best player imo

Facts! Jokic does everything perfect in basketball. He still plays like a true big by scoring in the post & a great rebounder. Can still stretch the floor & shoot 3s. And of course his playmaking/IQ is great. Jokic is not the best defender, but he gives effort & every thing else he does definitely makes up for it.

Detroit fan here, but I live in Denver and it’s amazing being able to watch him play, true magician, hoping they’ll do something at the trade deadline to get him some more help because it seems MPJ is checked out already

Agreed, Jokic is like Houdini on the court! I personally think they should keep MPJ because of the chemistry he has with this team & he also is more consistent in the playoffs

What team are you watching? MPJ is having an excellent year. Gordon has added a 3 point shot to his game, Christian Braun is squashing the talk about KCP by being far better than him, & we're getting significant signs of improvement from the young kids Watson & Strauther, not to mention Russ is showing he can play within himself for Malone. Every year fans start this nonsensical talk that we need to make a big trade. They said it last season & we were tied with OKC for the best record in the WC. Denver develops their talent from within. Acquiring big name stars would only dilute the whole point of this offense lead by Jokic. We have stars already, they just don't get the spotlight players do in the coastal media markets.

To me Jokic is a mix of Wilt, Bird & Magic. Wilt because he still plays & scores like a true big man & Wilt was also a great passer as well for a Center (Only center to lead the NBA in assists for a season). Bird because they have very similar looking jump shots & the way they both can space/stretch the floor with their three-point shooting ability. Magic of course because the way they both see the floor & can control the game simply by them just playmaking/assisting their teammates to score the ball.

Is Jokic the best player this season ? Without question and I would say its not even close but there are problems tho . He is forced to average a 40 min game , that is too much to ask and it will lead to fatigue and possibly an injure , he is very impressive when it comes to his stamina being such a big man and he knows how to pace himself but that is still too much , he is forced to be a workhorse and that will not be sustainable lets be honest here . Look at the starters besides Jokic who is a walking near 30 point triple double machine with a 55.6 FG% . Jamal 18.2 ppg , 4.7 apg with a 40 FG% , for someone who is suppose to be their best shooter that is nowhere near good enough especially with all the passes Jokic is feeding him , he had his contract renewed and its a max , he sure as hell ain't playing like he deserves anywhere near that and he is injured for like it least a third of the season all the time . MPJ 18.1ppg , 7 rebounds with a 46.9 FG% the second main shooter , also not good enough for someone who also has almost a max salary , both he and Murray need to put up more points . Aaron Gordon has been consistent throughout the seasons but he is injured now and will likely be for weeks . CB is the biggest surprise , a welcome one scoring 16.6 ppg on 55.8 FG% , he so far is better than KCP was for the Nuggets as a starter , if he can keep 15 ppg + throughout the season he really will be an asset to the team . Their bench is not as bad as I thought :Westbrook , Strawther and Watson have been solid tho Westbrook needs to up that FG % . Murray and MPJ need to step up and average more than 20 ppg and Murray must up his shooting % , its too low for supposedly the best shooter on the team . I have seen a stat that when Jokic is on the bench the Nuggets are a -33 in point efficiency which is abysmal , With Jokic they are averaging a 121 ppg , without him they would average 88 ppg , that is by far the worst in the league , if something happens to Jokic the nuggets are not cooked , not roasted but charred to oblivion . He is basically superman on this team . Jokic's teammates need to step up because Jokic is not superhuman and we will not be able too keep this up physically playing like a mule , if Jokic wasn't feeding them so many assists I dread to think what their stats would actually be .
