Suns last year did something similar to steal 2 games where they essentially said “jokic is worse when he isn’t facilitating” so left 1 on him and shut down every passing lane. Worked for 2 games and then Jokic said “if you’re not throwing 2 on me, I will make you pay” and proceeded to dominate them. Then if you double, he will make the right pass to a team full of more than capable scorers. Not only does it lead to long procession, but it also leads to foul trouble and just soul snatching plays for your defense. It cannot be stopped the nuggets and Jokic will adjust. Wolves are significantly better than last years suns team so I expect them to at least make game 6 extremely competitive, but the nuggets are just such a complete team

Celtics also gotta love all the western conference series being competitive. Even as a Knicks fan, I find it very unlikely the Celtics don't win the ECF in like 5 maybe 6 games, after probably putting away the Cavs in game 5. So they have the potential to be very rested playing not very competitive series while the teams in the west are absolutely battling in some tough series. I don't think Jamal Murray should've been suspended for 1 game. By the rulebook, he should've been given a technical and ejected from Game 2. Just because they failed to enforce that doesn't mean Murray should be forced to sit out Game 3 despite not commiting a suspension-worthy offense. He also doesn't have a significant prior disciplinary record and has only been ejected once in his career with only 13 technical fouls. Embiid, on the other hand, 100% deserved a flagrant two, ejection and 1 game suspension. Throwing something onto the court and pulling down a jumping player's leg are magnitudes apart in terms of danger and unsportsmanlike conduct. He 100% intended to harm Robinson with that play, considering he laid back down to do it despite already getting up. He's also the worst repeat offender in league history, having the second most flagrant fouls out of any NBA player ever in a third of the games played. However, for the sake of the playoffs, he could've been simply ejected. Instead, it was called a flagrant one which is a travesty.
