Jokic is easily the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER in the NBA currently. Not only do the Nuggets have the best offensive rating in NBA history with him on the floor, but you can easily see with your eyes that this team can't play basketball without him. He averages 10 assists, but even that doesnt do him justice the way he creates wide open looks for his teammates. He would average like 12-13 assists if his teammates were serious. Completely revived Russ and made him one of the best role players a team can have, especially given his contract. Murray is starting to look good again, Braun is getting better and better, you have Gordon, MPJ. This team might actually make a run in the west, the only thing that might stop them is their bench. They need a backup center or a 3 and D guy, that can take 5 threes a game for a positive impact as they don't shoot enough threes imo.

Its crazy that Jokic has a back to back against the Spurs WITH TRAVEL, and drops b2b 40pt triple doubles against the UNANIMOUS DPOY and the "to-be GOAT defender", while also being constantly doubled and tripled because the DPOY could do nothing to him, and that's just expected because it's Jokic. SGA goes out and gives the Cavs 40 pts and apparently that seals up MVP. Its hilarious how desperate it is. Jokic is just that far ahead in skill and impact - the guy is scoring just as well as SGA, while playmaking at the level of prime Chris Paul (with, yes, BETTER passing skill), and a top 3 rebounder ITL. Definiton of "levels to this."

Side note - the MVP tracker has correctly marked the eventual MVP for the last 2 decades with near perfect accuracy with only 2 misses. One was Rose over Bron in 2011, which to me makes sense and was a complete outlier in league history with bron having ran to 2 all-stars in his absolute prime AND not getting the one seed. This was the first time in NBA history something like this happened, they weren't gonna give him the MVP, and especially without the 1 seed. The ONLY OTHER MISS was Embiid over Jokic in 23 - THATS IT. So, Jokic already has the only "true" stolen/voter fatigue MVP stolen over the last 2 decades. People always say "bron should have won like 8 straight" or some other nonsense, but its simply not true. People really don't like to hear it, but bron never had this gap over the other MVP candidates, and doubly so because he was well known for coasting in the regular season. Every MVP he "lost" was given to the correct person as per impact metrics. In summary, Jokic has the only stolen MVP in the last 20 years, and very well may have ANOTHER rightful MVP stolen, as the MVP tracker has him handily in the lead rn. The only other true stolen MVP was Karl Malone over MJ.

The MVP race is not close. Jokic is in a class by himself. That doesn’t mean the voters will give it to him as we’ve already seen them ignore the reality the year Embid was gifted the award by the biased voters. You shouldn’t make it seem like SGA is close to the Joker.

Simple. We've seen players like SGA before but none like Jokic. Also, IF a player has been MVP the year before and in the race again, the NBA should recognize that alone as something and in those cases there should be two awards given. If the candidates are both new, then only one award. This way nobody feels compelled to vote for another just because the other guy already has some awards. This year is too close to say either is the clear winner. I do know that out of the two teams, I wouldn't want to face the nuggets in the playoffs if Jokic is playing.
