The difference was that Jokic was doing this and backing up AD in the forth. AD did that in the first half and the Lakers kind of got away from it and forgot about team ball, or maybe got tired. You gotta bring your best when it counts, not just the 1st half.

jokic knew that first, he was PF for Nurkic C and after that he refused a starting position if not Center. that aint his role and he declines that role. MPJ on the other hand, accepted the wing role. plays the wing role. he was good with high percentage, low conversion (most of the time) for a man who is the 3rd highest paid in the team.
