I have officially emerged from my depression caused by the playoff loss last season. I'm refreshed and optimistic once more.

I went cold turkey for a month or so after the last game. Didn't listen to DNVR, other 🏀 shows, no social media, nothing. I watched one finals game to see Luka play, saw Boston take 49 shots and then nothing else. I came back a month later to listen only to DVNR when they started taking Jokić & Serbian NT at Olympics. And watched those basketball games. That basketball fast was valuable. Now I'm looking forward to watching the best basketball player in the world again this season. The guy who makes us smile and laugh when he amazes us over and over. Can't wait for the first Sombor shuffle and double, the first QB pass and pocket bounce pass, to see his make shish kebab out of bigs in the paint, the Bully ball and the up and under. How CAN you not be excited at watching something special, someone unique that you probably wont see again?

University Of Kentucky fan here. There was already talk about Murray's attitude when he was in Lexington, KY back in his college days. I can only think of a few guys in my decades of following that team that you'd hear stuff like that about....one was Murray and the other was Devin Booker.....and you can see that talk was likely true when you look at their pro careers.

Bro I have always hated Jamal's attitude What wrong with him? He seems very ungrateful about everything and very arrogant. I hate it. He was always like this so this is nothing new
@rainofkhandaq667820 сағат бұрын
What's wrong with him? He's being himself. Didn't say anything mean to anyone, he just gave short concise answers, and you may be unaware of this but there arw people who are naturally like that in conversations. It's weird that some of you get so emotional over it. Let me know when he kicks a dog or something Calling it arrogance is ironically it's own form of narcissism.

Murray is a stubborn contradictor. Media and fans need feed him opposite of what they want him to do. So our new message should be your are the best and you should care even less. Murray my man you don't owe anybody anything, you got the bag, time to coast!!! I don't want to see averages over 20pts save it for the PO...and take as many stupid shots as you want, your teammates can't hit from the beach into the ocean.

Calvin Booth told you everything you need to know about this season and Jokic future in one sentence .. Jokic probably have 5 more years of his prime on this team and it will incredibly hard to win another one (championship).. Basically telling you if Jokic is lucky he will win one more with this organization (as the best player in the world it shouldnt be on any decent team) GG WP 0 rings in 5 years.. As for Jamal kid is just a terrible human being as you could see in this Press C ..

Dépressive and obsessive types always see the glass half empty. I'm getting to watch another season of the best player on the planet and people worrying about legacy (🙄) and how many titles? Instead of relishing the upcoming Sombors, QB passes, and barbecue chicken in the paint, some rather feel depressed and wallow in self pity. Emotional incontinence is a default for many people. If Jamal offended you during the press confidence, you are a weak, weak little wall flower. Russ was 100x the asshole to media and in both cases,who gives a f? All that matters is how a player is competes and produces. People also crapped on kawhi for a long time before making fun of the way he talks in public.

Westbrook is absolutely good value at a vet minimum. Even on the Lakers he would have been good fit if 2-3 million per year instead of 47 million per year (if it was vet minimum they def keep KCP Caruso Kuzma Howard etc). The biggest issue is he was overpaid by more 8-10x. If he was making 40+ million this would be horrid fit on nuggets (or any team) post 2020 bc then the rest of your team is greatly diminished depth wise and he’s expected to be a top3 player on your team. As a number 5-8 on a team at the vet minimum he absolutely is good value with zero risk. IF Nuggets healthy going into the playoffs I’m taking them over ANYONE in 7 game series. Go look at how ILLmatic Murray was last year vs Celtics when they were 2-0 and come back to say his stats. LAST YEAR with healthy Murray (or much closer to it) Nuggets won at a 62 game pace and had unreal +15 or so per 100 with Jokic Murray on court. Then the year before that in playoffs when he was healthy they were 16-4 when Murray was a top3-5 player in the playoffs (best guard for his 2nd straight playoff on team went to final 4 and title). AG coming back was always almost a lock. Not sure why fans thought he may be gone. Booth’s math was wrong. If they have a 10 year run with 20-21 being the first year then they still have 6 more full seasons not 5. Jokic can be ILLmatic another 6-7 years if he really wanted to be given his game (maybe longer a la Kareem, LeBron, Karl Malone etc).

During the playoffs, i was "Man Murray has a bad shooting/playing day". Didn't wrote anything negative on social media, or talked with friends. I didn't even expected from him to say anything regarding last season because it is in the past. And i understand he is maybe hurt with stories about his play in playoffs and Olympic, but as fan, I expected from him to talk about next season. And he was so dismissive or uninterested to talk about it.. Glad others were so pumped to bring me will to get up in the middle of the night to watch them and root for them.

@UraStr20 сағат бұрын
Of course you don't need to be Boston-like team when it comes to shooting...BUT there's a break point when you lack shooting so much that you can't play basketball. And that quote really scares me...basketball is a cat and mouse game. Make your opponent to focus on something and then you levarage it into getting good shots. It doesn't matter if those are 3s or 2s. But when you don't have any shooting suddenly your good shots become bad shots, because you don't spread the floor and there's 3 guys guarding you...
