Watched the Magic highlights based off the link you put here and I have to say as impressive is Jokic is I still find Magic (even 1991) Magic more impressive. While there games are truly similar I would say there will never be anyone truly like Magics game. He is one of one. To be fair Jokic is one of one as well so it remains to be seen if someone will come along side him or after him and approximate his game but its been 30 years since Magic and no one has been like him. A true Unicorn.

@@davidjr4903Stop crying, Bird was considered a generational talent, just like Luka who is favorite to win MVP the last 3-4 seasons, the thing with Jokic is that 1 : He was a late bloomer, just like Giannis (Who is also not considered a generational talent despite being a Black Greek/Nigerian, and having more accolades than Jokic, 2 MVP, 1 FMVP and 1 DPOY, Joker just doesn’t have the DPOY), both Jokic and Giannis weren’t even a Top 10 pick at the draft unlike Luka for exemple, so they didn’t start their career like guys like Luka, Shaq, Magic ect. And 2 : Because he doesn’t have a flashy game, just like Giannis, the only thing flashy about his game are his passes and his post moves/footwork, things that casuals don’t care about, and Jokic just looks fat, he is very slow, so when you are a casual or a kid you don’t want to be Jokic you want to be Doncic, Ja Morant, ANT, SGA, Wemby … You want to look cool and entertaining, you want to break ankles and dunk on people, why you think Tim Duncan was never the face of the league and is often forgotten in the GOAT conversation ? Because he was boring, just like Jokic, nothing to do with race, America is 70% White my friends stop crying Jokic doesn’t even have an Instagram or any social media account he doesn’t want to be the face of the league he want to play, have fun, win games and titles and live like a normal person.

No, the competition in this league is simply insanee right now, Nuggets are defending champions, Jokic is the best player in the league and Warriors are old. Klay was really good player when he was in his prime, really good player, but he passed his prime since 2019. He isn't athat good anymore. Not even Draymond. Curry still plays on extremely high level at 36 years of age, but Warriors aren't the same team anymore.

Jokic had at least 4 seasons when he was better offensive player than him. Jokic basically can average nearly as many assists as Magic, but in the same time he can score nearly as much as Shaq. That makes him better offensive player than Jordan because Jordan maybe averages more points than Jokic, but guess what? Jokic averages less points on waay higher efficiency than Jordan from everywhere not mentioning free throw % altough they are close in that category too. And Jokic's passing is on a whole other level comparing to Jordan's so yeah... It really makes sense to call Jokic the best offensive player in his prime.

It's ridiculous what goes into the statistics as an assist in the NBA. Player A passes the ball to Player B, who dribbles it to the basket and scores the point and for that Player A gets an assist?!

I agree about that. It's very generous to consider those as assists, but on the other hand it's very difficult to tell in a clear way the real assists from the "fake" ones you describe.
