I would’ve done the exact same thing as Gia. Dressed up and showed up looking beautiful. That way everyone could see who the real winner should’ve been.

Gia found out she didn't get the job on her own but Laura should have called her to apologize after the fact. The way she brushes it off at the party being so busy is so disrespectful and unprofessional.

"You are one of the strongest, bravest people that I have ever known. Nikolas Cassadine. I think that Gia had accepted that she wasn't going to be the face of deception but that she understood the value of networking and had found that she enjoyed modeling and that's the problem with Emily and Liz who weren't really given careers that they enjoy. On the current GH, we see Ava with Nina but, when do we see Nikolas without Ava for very long? I just rewatched the Nikolas and Lulu scenes from last year and she told him directly to cut his losses with Ava and again, Nikolas and Ava aren't all that concerned about Avery and Spencer. I also think that if the powers that be are really that invested in a soap opera that they usually let both people flourish and make better choices but, Nikolas is just being an ever present husband but he's not doing much here that is positive or constructive for himself which is ironic because Gia thought that what Nikolas wanted and needed was important.
