"No one has ever cared about me the way that you do, you know that?" Nikolas Cassadine. I don't think that anyone before or since has cared about Nikolas as much as Gia did and Gia put Nikolas first and this is also part of why he does everything that he can to protect Gia.

I like that Gia reminded Nik his feelings were important, and mattered too here. That if it comes down to Lucky and Nik, she chooses Nik. I think Nik needed to someone put him first. He shouldn't just have to sacrifice himself for Lucky just because that's what is expected. Don't get me wrong, he loved his brother. BUT, Laura and Liz during the Endgame story seemed to forget that Nik had feelings that mattered too, and everything was about saving Lucky and not what Nik had to suffer. Not only that, Nik could of died or gotten in big trouble teaming up with Helena only to find out he was using her. He could of been brainwashed as well. I guess they expected Nik to always bend over backwards cause he felt guilty for his family's sake, but like Gia said here that's not how it should be. Nik is not responsible for what his father did, and constantly have to "prove" himself to the Spencers.

@@nianikgia8432 I think that no one has put Nikolas first before or since like Gia did and he knew that which is why he will do anything to help Gia and I think that Liz always thought that Nikolas would bend over backwards for Lucky and had trouble dealing with it when Nikolas didn't. I also thought that in this storyline we see that Lucky is Laura's pride and joy and what Liz and Lucky need or want come first and that made it easier in my opinion for Nikolas to make sure that Princess Sparky was given everything that she wanted and more. Gia did her best to give Nikolas 100% of her love and attention and so I think that Nikolas gave Gia everything that she wanted and more and could not bare to lose her and has been a lost man for years without Gia. I think that having a child with Gia would and will mean everything to Nikolas because, Gia was the only one that put him first.

I really liked Nik and Gia as a couple, plus this storyline had the added bonus of bringing Stravos back. Robert Kelker Kelly did a fantastic job with his scenes as the crazy eldest son of Helena.
