🧑🍳COOKING DIRECTIONS
[ Italian-style Tomato Somen 🍅 ]
Cooking time: 20-25 minutes
■Ingredients (serves 2)
Somen noodles... 2-3 bunches
Cherry tomatoes... 20
(A) Garlic... 4-5 cloves
(A) Olive oil... 2 tablespoons
(B) Chicken stock powder... 1 teaspoon
(B) Salt... 1/2 teaspoon
(B) Water... 100ml
(B) Noodle soup (3x concentrated)... 3 tablespoons
Shiso leaves... 6 leaves
■How to make
1. Remove the stems from the cherry tomatoes and cut them into 4 pieces.
2. Put (A) in a frying pan and heat over low heat. When the garlic has lightly colored, turn off the heat and let it cool.
3. Add the chopped cherry tomatoes, (B) and the garlic olive oil from 2 to a bowl and mix well.
4. After boiling the somen noodles, cool them in cold water and drain them thoroughly.
5. Place the somen noodles in a bowl and pour the sauce from 3 over them. Garnish with shiso leaves to taste and you're done.
[Grilled eggplant with cheese🍆]
Cooking time: 15 minutes
■Ingredients (serves 2-3)
Eggplant... 2
Sesame oil... 3 tablespoons
(A) Soy sauce, miso, sugar... 2 teaspoons each
(A) Sake, mirin... 1 tablespoon each
Sliced cheese... 2
Shiso leaves... 2
■How to make
1. Remove the stem of the eggplant, cut it in half lengthwise and make a vertical cut.
2. Add sesame oil to a frying pan and coat the eggplant in oil. Cook over medium heat with the skin side facing down, then cover with a lid. Steam over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
3. Mix the ingredients (A) to make the sauce, wipe off the moisture from the frying pan, add the sauce (A) and coat the entire surface in the sauce.
4. Turn off the heat, top with torn cheese, cover and warm with residual heat.
5. Serve in a dish and top with shredded shiso leaves to finish.
