Nikon P500 Review!

Just got my p500 a few days ago. It's amazing, but I'm still trying to dabble through these settings. How do you make the video brighter in low light? My room only has a lamp and it's hard to shoot HD or HS videos without it being like pitch black. I think it's a setting thing I changed. But other than that in low light the pictures are really impressive

Love this video. I am a complete novice but have been experimenting with the nikon P500. I have been asked to take some pictures and make a video of a friends wedding. I've managed to make a few videos but really would like to know how to take a soft focus picture of the bride if possible. How do I do that please Jake? xx

The best Bridge camera of this moment are the Canon SX 40HS and Panasonic Fz 150 - be carefull when you watch the Review of the Canon SX 40HS because it looks like if it doesn't have the hotshoe for the external flash but it has it but it is hidden with a cover but it has it and I really don't know why the engeeneer covered it and so it look like a toy but it isn't the hotshoe for the external flash is present on the Canon SX 40HS but it is covered and uncup it and you have it .

Panasonic have the imput for an external mic - also if you are novice in photography it is very important the option to be free to have and external mic or the option to use an external flash so when you have an external mic the noise of the zooming is zero while with the built in mic the zoom noise is very disturbing your ear you know if you have the option to use an external flash you can create artistic shadows on the faces of people but withthe builtin flash it is no artistic at all result

i got the same camera and i love it..only thing i dont like is the noise you get on your videos from auto focus

@max100DDD does this camera take better pics than the Coolpix S2500 I know its a weird comparison but I have that S2500 and I need to upgrade.

bellabelliboo I would say no, you would need a camera with faster focus.

p510 is a good camera but, personally, canon sx40 is better.

what I don't like in nikon Bridge is theynever have the hotshoe for the external Flash while Panasonic and Canon have and this makes become this Nikon just a Toy because you can't use it with external flash and that means your creativity is lowered and Nikon choose this marketing politic only because if there were the hotShoe for external flash many professional photographers would have bought it instead of the reflex nikon and this is a stupid marketing politic if your competitor put hotshoe
