The clicking sound that you're hearing when you turn it on/off or when you hit the playback button is the IBIS. I see in the video that you have it turned on in the Z6III and off in the Z6II. I just tried in my Z6II to confirm and when it's on, it does the same sound and when it's off, it doesn't.

i have z6II is there major wow upgrade to it 3rd gen beside the tilt screen
@JasonLorette13 күн бұрын
@@zetorek83 the improved autofocus, the partially stacked sensor are big upgrades for me and love the flip screen as an added bonus. Plus I needed it because of the dip on the river my Z6II took (still works) lol. Thanks for watching! 📸😎

Personally, I hate the flip screen. I don't do vlogging or take selfies. The tilt-up screen was perfect, especially for taking videos, and shooting from low and high. But now you have that screen hanging off the side of the camera. But I'm glad you like it. Too bad there aren't 2 options available. Btw, you can easily program the top-left button back to being a playback button. That's what I did at first, but then I realized how convenient it was to have the playback button on the right side so you can do 90% of the camera functions with your right hand. So my top-left button is back to being a drive-mode button, which works well in that spot.
@JasonLorette2 ай бұрын
@@cameraz99 I can understand that I guess. They’d never do two options unfortunately. Another thing I like that I forgot to mention in the video was being able to flip the screen around to protect it in my bag. Thanks for watching! 📸😎

@@JasonLorette -- Now that I've watched the rest of your video, I agree with how off-putting the Z6 III's clunking noises are. Mine even clunks when the camera goes into and wakes up from sleep mode. What's up with that? Also, I have no problems with my strap lugs. I *always* keep straps on my cameras -- especially when carrying more than one body -- and the nylon straps that I use keep the lugs from hitting the camera body. Therefore, no rattling.

Very helpful and informative video Jason. I’m very tempted by the 6iii to replace my 6ii but noise and dynamic range are concerns for me. The 6ii is outstanding in noise reduction and amazing when lifting the shadows. What do you think? I have the Z8 and noise is a lot higher, not surprising as it’s 45mp and raising the shadows raises the noise a lot more compared to the 6ii. I would love the flippy screen which I’ve used when I had the Lumix G6 and 7.
@JasonLorette2 ай бұрын
@@paulkirk5760 honestly I think the dynamic range issue is a bit over blown. Watch my night time video from a couple of weeks ago, it does just fine. All my videos and photos since July are with the Z6III. I also exposure stack, the same I did with my Z6II, when necessary.📸😎

That’s a helpful reply, I’ll watch the video. I found shooting sunrises in the winter and starting well before the sun pops up with the 6ii I could certainly get away with 2 blended shots and often just 1 shot. You’ll get used to the playback button being moved. Its bottom right on the Z8 and at first I wasn’t sure but wouldn’t move it now and can find it much more easily without taking my eye away from the EVF than top right where I had to take my hand off the lens.

Have you ever shot the Z6iii side by side with the Z6ii? I ordered 2 copies of the Z6iii and both end results were soft images with same setup (same photo settings etc) compared to my Z6ii - returned both and waiting to figure out what I end up going for next

Good information, if a bit familiar. The overexposured video does not convey a sense of expertise, which is kind of an authority-killer for KZbin effectiveness.

The lighting is frustrating, normally in this studio space my lights are 'set' and don't change so I can just sit down and record...unfortunately I had used my key light for something else and forgot to set it back (and I think this was the first video I've ever worn a fully white T-Shirt lol). A day later when reviewing the footage, I didn't want to record the whole video again. Fortunately the information I wished to convey is there and the sound is good so I went ahead with it. Thanks for watching! 📷😎
