I have just recently purchased a Z8 and came across your youtube. Amazing color grading and filming! Are you using a monitor and false color to film? Or are you using waveform/histogram? I come from Sony as well and i'm curious how you're exposing your shots? Are you overexposing?

Thank you for your comment! The way of taking exposure is different when recording in SDR and when shooting in LOG. I shoot in LOG and adjust the exposure by looking at the monitor and histogram.

@7HolidaysFilm I shoot LOG as well. Are you overexposing ( to the right ) or are you using a more balanced approach? Thanks!

@@NoiselessProductions When shooting in LOG, I shoot so that the histogram is centered. It's better not to shoot with a darker exposure.
