Nikon AF-S 50 mm f/1.8G is a prime lens with fixed focal length where as Nikon AF-S 35 mm f/1.8 g is a wide angle lens also with fixed focal length

At 18:15 why is the ISO at 320 when shutter speed is so high? A 100 ISO would have been better?

Hi! Since Faster shutter speed results in lesser light and the subject is underexposed hence to compensate that high ISO is needed.

Hi, The video tutorials are all awesome I have seen all of them, I have a question! I am currently exploring photography and so do all types like nature, portrait, architecture, wildlife, travel photography sometimes etc. I am planning to buy a new fixed focal length prime lens so that it adds more colour to my pictures and the quality increases. I am confused between Nikon AF-S 50 mm f/1.8G and Nikon AF-S 35 mm f/1.8 g ? Kindly suggest me which one should I buy so that it fits most of the situations. I have a Nikon D5200 body along with 18-55 and 55-200 lenses. Awaiting a kind reply soon. Thank You

+Sakshi Goyal Hey! I bought the 35 mm lens and it's been great using it. the wide angle shots it gives you are truly amazing, and its bookeh is awesome. there is one thing to note the this lens serves a very good purpose if you do wide angle photography most of the time but if you do close tight portrait photography then this might give you a little hitch. With time using it I have realised that 35 mm is super awesome when your'e going wide angle like nature, street, or in rooms that are small with low light and still requires portrait in such cases this is awesome. But when your'e away from the subject like an appreciable distance or you want and then you want a superb bookeh then 35 m wont help then you'll need 50mm. After about using 35 mm now i feel the need to buy 50mm cuz 35mm has taught me alot. So the final suggestion from my side is if your'e very clear about what you wish to click then choose the lens you like and if you are exploring then go for 35mm it'll teach you use of space and foot steps and eventually with time you'll know when to buy 50 mm. I hope this helps and I am really sorry for a late reply.

Is There Any Particular Lens For Candid? Please Help
@nikonind

Sudip Bhattacharya Hi Sudip, There are no particular lenses for Candid Photography. All Telephoto Lenses will serve the purpose as the main intention is to maintain distance so that the subject is unaware.

The technical details is missing in this video, just to point, that any third eye rule or other rules we have to keep in mind while shooting candid photography. This video look like just a video to see the beautiful candid photography pictures.
