Voice is equal to the words and being someone who's damaged or been there an understanding of having loved ' lost and overcoming " whatever the outcome appreciation for all its emotions.. I wish his shows were still like this. Not for the sake of his popularity, because its great how big he has become, but as a longtime listener and seeing him in Toronto at a small club with maybe 100 people, I seriously miss being able to just listen to him play and sing. Now everyone screams the lyrics non stop and are mostly disrespectfully talking and yelling while hes talking
@symonhughes91553 жыл бұрын
Mate, I am exactly the same. I'm happy for him being as big as he is now but I also thing his music has gone far too "produced" and doing collaborations with Bugzy seem so far away from the guy I saw in Norway in a small club with around 80/120 crowd attendance. Miss them days man.
@gregorylouiscoleman3 жыл бұрын

Anyone here in 2024. Been a few years at least since I've watched this video. After Rain and The Killer Was A Coward I used to listen to probably more than 10 times a day easily when I felt incredibly down. Even at university his music helped me settle my head 💙

I love this video!! I also had this on repeat in 2021 when I first found Dermot. He was a heaven sent. He clears the merky energy inside me. I would love to see him live. I bet it would be everything and more! Life changing. His voice is angelic and his music hits the inner soul and says "hello, you don't need to suffer alone."
