Niky Ceria bouldering in Sardinia

'The Process' is a contemplative bouldering movie.
We followed Niccolo Ceria for a week, to capture his approach to bouldering, exploring new landscapes, and establishing king lines.

The shot at 6:35 is mindblowing, the rare Flathold uploads are always a treat. I remember seeing the posts on Niky's instagram page and wondering how something so beautiful could exist, glad to witness the movement that it creates. I hope a lot of top climbers see this video and go establish more king lines

4:08 Damn, i was in Sardinia in April, randomly turned to see the castle that I saw in the distance. Then saw the boulders there, then saw this gem (and the one opposite) and I though to myself: it must be Niky Ceria trying this beautiful thing. Turns out I was right! This is a magnificent rock, like a surfer's wave. And the film is absolutely stunning. Edit: this line was first ascended by Valdo Chilese.

It's granite. Capo Testa is very grainy and rough, but this orange block is super super smooth.Imagine rock polished by water. It really is like a wave. Funny that I stumbled upon this place by pure luck, saw chalk on this beautiful feature and guessed correctly who is working it. There was another beautiful super high boulder nearby, the rope was mounted and hidden so I must have missed someone. Edit: undoubtedly one of the most striking lines in the world. It is Ogu by Valdo Chilese

These are some of the most awesome rock formations in the world. Nature in its purest, formed by erosion over ages and ages. Also it is granite (not sandstone), full of quartz crystals, very grippy. So, please do not use chalk, let alone tick marks. It will only stain the sheer beauty of this place!
