@@allyson-- My favorite live performance of her new songs

Absolutely love this performance. Wish they had a live cellist for this song, but this works perfectly fine, too. The drummer looks different. Wondering if Ellis Dupuy still performs with her. Such an understated, yet a very propulsive drummer that really made such a difference on her songs. If he's no longer a part of this, I could see that a switch to moodier, slower and more atmospheric songs could have partially been out of necessity to be able to replicate the magic in a live setting.

@ivanl.8201 He performed at the NYC show earlier in the year so guessing he couldn't make this tour which sucks and it's noticeable

@@DJ-IronMike And I’m personally finding this to be a very different album and material from the previous ones. It’s taking me some time to wrap my head around it, unlike the previous albums and songs, which just grabbed me. I’m kind of missing her guitar style from the earlier songs such as ‘The Florist’, ‘Angels’, ‘Sliding Doors’, 'Thanks 4 Nothing', ‘The Unordained’, ‘Day 7’, and even ‘Company’ or ‘Chase Me’. But this one is very delicate, has excellent songwriting, and is maybe more emotionally resonant in some ways. This song has a special emotional landscape that’s hard to describe. It seems spiritually similar to Suzanne Vega’s ‘Night Vision’, ‘Small Blue Thing’, or ‘Edith Wharton’s Figurines’. There’s that sort of vibe, and I am all ears if she were to further explore this sort of terrain.
