@6:04, இடதுபுறத்தில் உள்ள இரட்டை இரயில் பாதைகள் திருச்சூர், எர்ணாகுளம் மற்றும் திருவனந்தபுரம் செல்லும் பிரதான பாதையாகும். (towards southern Kerala - bypassing Shoranur junction).அந்த வழித்தடத்தில் பல ஊர்களுக்குச் செல்லும் பலர் தினசரி பயணிக்கும் ரயில் இது. This railway route was implemented by the Britishers to transport teak wood from the Nilambur forests to the coast !! The ALCO diesel locomotives have also been operating on this route.

முப்பது ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு கேரளா கர்நாடகா எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் ட்ரெயின் shoranur jn ல் இரண்டாக பிரித்து ஒரு பிரிவு திருவனந்தபுரமும் மற்றது மங்களூர் ம் செல்லும். இப்போது எப்படி என்று தெரியவில்லை. அதே போல மறு மார்க்கத்தில் மங்களூரில் இருந்தும் திருவனந்தபுரத்தில் இருந்தும் வரும் கேரளா கர்நாடக எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் ஒன்றாக இணைந்து பாலகாடு, கோவை, சேலம், ஜோலார்பேட்டை வழியாக நியூ டெல்லி வரை செல்லும்.

At 6.03 Minutes. The route is for Thrissur station without passing through shoranur Junction. Most of the trains going to South Kerala will take this route without going to shoranur junction 👍

The track you saw towards the left before Shornur is the route towards Trivandrum which bypasses shornur station. Shornur station is a very important junction which is crossover point for Trivandrum => Chennai, Trivandrum=> Managalore Konkan route, => New Delhi and Mangalore=>Chennai routes.

It's my favourite route and traveled few times. This route was more beautiful 15 years before. Now there are many houses built on this route. Nilambur teak museum is a must see place.

That's shornur bypass line towards south of kerala. All South bound trains doesn't go to shornur except Dhanbad Alleppey which has reversal. Earlier sabari expres used to do this reversal but now stopped

Bro - that route is directly towards Thrissur - Ernakulam and take s you to South Kerala. The route via Shornur takes you to NOrth Kerala.....Palghat is the connecting and entry point from Kerala...from Karnataka- Tamilnadu-Andhra- Telengana....
