In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks
to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed - a machine which superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will
push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough
energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical, impossible invention - but now it’s in your hands… if you can manage to develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire!
ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still can grow and evolve a lot - and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone

Something that I noticed is that you can set up rows of water pumps then pave them over and they'll still produce water even though it got paved away

It’s so strange watching these 6 months later. Back when this first released I was always amazed at the scale of your production. Fast forward to today and I need 15 full belts of quantum chips to keep the green cubes happy.

Something was funky with his map lol it showed him building on top of stuff already there according to his map in the beginning. Particularly where you set up the plane filters and quantum chips

Please check your new warper build. I've had components get stuck in sorters and machines before and there may be some green lenses gumming up the works.

He should be fine, this is only an issue if the warpers needed 2 or more lenses but it's just 1 so it won't jam

I followed this tutorial years ago before blueprints was implemented and now am following again for fun, with blueprints. Wow, most of the builds can be done within a few moments. Take that Quantum Chip build for example.

I spent an unhealthy amount of time in DSP this week... on another note, the planets in my system are annoyingly far apart and the interplanetary transport is slow. Should I force the vessels to use warpers? Love these videos, really helped me who has never played factorio or anything to really get into DSP

I believe once he unlocks the interstellar logistics station he builds it on every world that either needs power or some structure in sizeable quantities. Nilaus has stated that it helps with the KZbin/Twitch content creation process. So if you don’t find it useful, it is not necessary. I use it on core worlds that make products. However on worlds that just provide resources I modify it to only two towers, one to provide power components and the second for belts and miners, concrete, etc.
