Therefore ALWAYS start small scale. Never get burdened by huge loans or constant recurring expenses. Today Facebook, KZbin and WhatsApp is more than enough to get sufficient customers. Remember these were not there 10yrs ago. For fish farming folks: 1. REDUCE ELECTRICITY COST: Always use Solar Power as you have inverter in every home, now only panels are required. 2. REDUCE BABY FISH COST: Never use GIFT fish. It's genetically modified. U can't breed it. With GIFT you have to continuously buy new baby fish. 3. Always use fish U can breed. This reduces considerable cost. Best fish to breed is KARIMEEN. It breeds in your pond. No new fish has to be bought. 4. For this the pond has to be at least 6 ft deep. 5. REDUCE COST OF INPUT: U don't have to farm fish INTENSIVELY. Meaning don't need to put 30,000 baby fish in the pond per mth when U can sell only 3,000/mth. 6. REDUCE FISH FEED COST: Karimeen's favorite food is cowdung! Now beat that! The leftover cowdung that settles on the bottom can be sucked out and the water sent to the plants. 7. REDUCE TRANSPORTATION COST: Use electric vehicle like eScooter/eRickshaw/cart/car for transportation as these are almost zero cost. 8. Total cost = ZERO! 9. Biggest challenge is to get the children (next generation) interested in such noble, healthy and profitable lifestyle. Schools and chasing marks tend to keep kids busy and away from such innovative work and take them away to foreign lands for jobs far from their roots. School n college degree teaches them nothing but to become job seekers instead of making them jobgivers.
