Thxs so much for sharing. !!! Sad enough the 1979 Disco Backlash had some serious racial aspects in! All of it inflamed by Dahl. (the ex DJ). It is a shame that the gouvernement let this happen! Music has it area's. And they come an they go in a more ore less 'natural way' regulated by the wishes of the listening audience. But hey, killing the Disco because it was the music of the blacks, the hispanics, an de gay community....THAT is MANY MANY bridges to far !!!!!! And in an instance it was eradicated by angry withe people without SOUL! I enjoyed the colorful extravaganza of Disco brought by top bands and musicians mixed with Soul, Jazz, Funk, Rock!!! But Disco survived in the end and I'll hope the DISCO will come back in all its old glory!
