I was driving across Michigan from Muskegon to Detroit during a very challenging period of my life and had this album on. Without going into details, I reached near transcendence with each synth stab as this track played at 80 miles per hour both confirming that I was right where I was supposed to be at that moment and closing that chapter of my life in peace. My roots with Moby go back to his Move EP in the early 90s and in many ways his music is the driving soundtrack to the last 25 years of my life.

During lockdown in the hour a day we were allowed to go out I used to walk on empty roads listening to this track with my earphones on. Strange "alone in the world" feeling. The music added to the drama of empty streets

I used to wonder why it was called destroyed before I heard it. When I played the album, I realized, there is no better name or cover for this album. By the way why is it called Lacrimae? This is one of my favs from the album.
