It is better to keep both. they will provide you snow-boots only.

Hi dear, Better physical fitness better performance. If possible, do few treks with load of ~15-20kg before going to the course. However, in BMC your attitude, discipline and efforts you put in training are more important than just endurance. Carry the recommended items especially waterproof trek shoes, multiple (3-4) gloves and woolen socks, or you can buy there itself. You will get good guidance and time for needful things to purchase on very first day. Just follow instructions & be disciplined. Everyday training is enjoyable .................. All the best.

I think it's necessary with form. I had submitted with the form and took a fresh at the time of reporting however, they did not take the later one. you can clarify with them on their whatsapp no. at NIM website.
