Acharya Dr. Sumati Trivedi Mishra no, “gandahara” has nothing to do with Kandahar/qandahar, gandahara was in the modern day Peshawar valley, look it up. The word qand comes from the Persian word “qand” which means sweets/candy. It was formerly called archosia and was part of the Persian empire. Also the land that we today call Afghanistan had mainly Zoroastrian and Buddhist followers, Balkh and Kabul were the centre of Zoroastrianism, it’s even theorised that Zoroaster, the prophet of Zoroastrianism was from balkh. And the Buddhist heritage is evident, ie the buddhas of bamiyan etc. Hindus did once control only eastern and southeastern Afghanistan during the Kabul shahi dynasty (areas south of the Hindu Kush) and yes there were some Hindu inhabitants in that region, but the actual inhabitants of Afghanistan mainly were not Hindu. To claim Afghanistan is a part of greater India just because a small portion was ruled by Hindus is ridiculous, Afghanistan is closer to Persia/Iran and Central Asia in every way, be it linguistically, genetically and culturally

لفظ هندو لفظ جغرافیایی است. برای مردم سر زمین هندوستان استفاده میشه . بعد از آمدن بریتانیا به سرزمین هندوستان مذهب اونهارا هندو مذهب نامیدن اصلا نام مذهب هندو ها مذهب ( ویدیک و یا سناتن درم است) ویدیک مربوط به کتاب های مقدس هندو نامیده شده کتاب های وید. سیک یک شاخه مذهب هندو است تفاوت زیاد دارد کتاب مختلف دارن و عبادات مختلف دارن . تاریخ مذهب هندو از ۴۰۰۰ سال الی ۱۰ هزار سال تخمین زده شده. اما مذهب سیکها از ۵۰۰ الی ۶۰۰ سال تخمین زده شده است.
