Whenever Nima talks, we all win! He is a hero, a great entertainment, and an inspirational lecturer. One comes to wish that his name would be heralded by the public more than names like Tyson and Kaku that have less of an impact on the future (IMHO). Apologies to anyone this might offend.

I will only argue that Kaku is celebrated not only as cofounder of string theory, but also for his elegance in ability to communicate such complex aspects of the universe in simplest form to every day people. I pray he sticks around because his voice is like the physics version of Morgan Freeman lol

Unlike Tyson and Kaku, Nima is still working day-to-day on groundbreaking theoretical physics, he'll be a household name as soon as he gets a Nobel prize for something related to an emergent theory of spacetime, superunified dark matter theory, or providing us (humanity) with a deeper understanding of scattering amplitudes.

its amazing how much of this makes its way into music theory . im only an amateur in physics but music theory helps understand this stuff better its weird .

Nima's connection between physics and mathematics seems promising, but explaining complexity, due to spin (BOHM) is better tackled by self-error correcting algorithm of quantum computing functions, if such an algorithm can be evolved. QC function may lead to a deeper insight into the boundary between micro and macro world and much more, like explaining consciousness, life, soul, time etc.

@Chris Record That would be so cool … I can’t even imagine coming up with a topic interesting enough to discuss with him. Haha! PS A new paper, on “The Page curve of Hawking radiation”, was published by J. Maldacena and a few of his colleagues yesterday. I saw that you were a fan in another comment, so thought I’d mention it in case you hadn’t seen it yet. Here’s the arXiv info: arXiv:1908.10996 [hep-th] (Plunk that into any search engine and it’ll get you there)

They're spinor brackets, contracted pairwise, and for the momenta of each numbered particle i.e. is the contraction of the the angled brackets corresponding to particles 1 and 2 (which respectively have momenta p1 and p2). The usual introduction for these Chapter 2 of arxiv.org/pdf/1308.1697.pdf .
