I first backed the project just for the collaboration with Faeri without really reading what Nimble is... Now I'm more hyped for Nimble than Faeri xD

This has a lot of potential to replace 5e, or be an introduction to TTRPGs. I'm looking forward to trying this system out later this fall. I feel combat is sluggish, and this system solves it elegantly. I Love the straight damage rolls, exploding crits and action point system. I would love some variant rules that do something about the inflated hitpoints, like DC20. However DC20 looks like it has too much crunch, so a combination of DC20 and Nimble is my dream game!

First off, congrats on the very successful campaign funding!!!! I love the product. Your marketing team/company is doing their work well as I found you on Facebook and fell down a Nimble rabbit hole. I just read your interview and saw that you have a product for middle schooler / younger players. I know you're neck deep in the core product. But do you have any information in regards to the kid's version. I'm backing the full version for my 12 year old, but very interested in the kid's variant for my 8 years old. Again, congrats!!

are you sure you want to allow the Stormshifter to become a cow at lvl 1? Cows aren't harmless. female cows weigh from 400 to 1100 kg. if they smack into you, say hello to broken ribs.

I honestly would prefer using exhaustion and wounds where they applied. In a situation where you died from your wounds, it doesn’t fit well to say “they died from exhaustion”, instead of “they died from their wounds). But maybe it could be “their life force was exhausted”?

These rules seem cool but is there any pledge level that just gives the hardcover books? The only level that includes them ("All-In: Premium Boxed Set") also includes a bunch of accessories that I wouldn't use and honestly just don't want.

Not at the moment, but the softcover books are likely to be upgraded to perfect bound instead of staplebound zines if that help you!

May I leave an idea for an possible future rules expansion book? Extra rules for multiclassin as special ways that certain pairs of classes interact. - Example: when you are a barbarian and you multiclass into a rogue, you can use reckless attack with dextery based attacks as well. - Other example: when you are a cleric and you multiclass into fighter, you can use a second wind charge to regain one channel divinity use and vice versa.

Yep, absolutely. If you regain HP, you're no longer dying, but you keep the wound until you Long Rest.

I have one irk and its about Long Rests and lodging and complications. Humans are well capable to camp in the wilds and get a good nights sleep. Frankly it is unrealistic that adventurers who are used to traversing the wilds cannot do this.

Yep, that's a fair point. Feel free to allow Long Rests wherever you like!

My take on this was that you need to be somewhere safe in order to benefit from a long rest. So if you are traversing a region that is safe or if you have taken adequate precautions to make it safe, then the GM could easily say that it is similar to being in lodging. If you are traversing dangerous wilds where you do not know if you are safe, then you cannot relax enough to benefit from a long rest while camping. Basically, the PCs need to find someplace where they can safely rest in order to benefit from a long rest, they cannot simply plop down their camp where ever they feel like it. I don't know if this needed to be codified as a rule, as this is something that I already did as a DM. Players need to have a sense that they can safely rest in order to get restful sleep. If they know that they are in danger, then they are not really getting restful sleep as the danger is weighing on them.

Is this a good way to start playing DnD without DnD experience? I always tried to go in to DnD but the rule books were intimidating and has always put me off.
