@@olecwow Nice, that was quick! Not a complicated build for this one, but that Intrepid...just a heads up, I go through a few different design iterations as I figured new things out on the rebuild so there's some adjusting here and there. Ultimately, if you have Sadyr's Decorative Engine mod, you can just use flipped WD 2030 engines instead of stacking the WD 1020's into a pyramid. I didn't realize you could flip the engines in the Decorative Engines mod until after I did the build video so I added a section for it at the end as well.

@@orcablaze There’s a lot of V-Wing inspiration that went into this so it’d be perfect for a Genesis playthrough. I ended up just doing the interior myself to get it the way I want but you can easily fit a brig with habitation modules to roleplay around in, so perfect as a compact bounty hunting fighter

@@Rikhammer ey best believe I’m turning this platform into Anakin’s Eta-2 Jedi Starfighter. That rear shot has almost the exact same proportions, so I’m definitely gonna give it a shot. Really hope we get moving parts one day. ElectioniStar was able to do it with the smaller X-Wing! Yeah haha I’m still trying to figure out this audio set up. I’m not sure how to clean and edit the voiceover so it’s just a straight recording with all the echoes and reverb and whatever lol

Before the Raceyard parts, this ship was going to be based off something I saw on pinterest and was going to use for Nova's challenge, but since it really does look like the Eta-2 I'm going to give that one a shot. What armor mods are you using, love the sysdef colors.

Those are the standard SysDef suits, and there’s also a SysDef Ace suit on display as well. I spawned them in using the Cheat Terminal mod but have gotten the standard SysDef suit and an armored version out in the wild as pre-mods. Interestingly enough both were acquired through a captains locker while boarding enemy ships.

@ I’m losing my mind, I used an armor overhaul mod for the last 3 months and haven’t seen the vanilla armors since and it just looked so good, completely forgot the vanilla looked that good haha. Thank you 🙏🏻

@ yeah the vanilla SysDef ones are actually really cool with the yellow accents so I was hesitant to switch over to a replacer or suit overhaul mod. Are you using Wulfy’s various UC armor replacers?

@ actually no I use the “UC Military Overhaul: All-in-one” by MonkeyChief1170 and it’s nice, the skins for the normal Marine and AntiXeno are sick but the SysDef is kind of mediocre, love their mods for the UC Military but the SysDef is better vanilla IMO

If this wasn't a SysDef-specific build, you'd probably see me rocking that UC Military Overhaul mod lol as a matter of fact, I will download it for a future dropship build

Amazing build! Greebles are pretty hard for me to imagine up so this is a really good use of parts! One thing I'm confused about is I followed the guide and I have all the mods included downloaded, but for some reason the docker keeps saying it's not on the outside edge of the ship. Any advice on how to fix this? Edit: Never mind! I figured it out lol I had the TIG SJ01MF Scan Jammer - MF on the horizontal weapon mount just next to the docker where the repeaters in yours are, and it was just tall enough to exceed the bounds of the docker.

For the interior, make sure you also have a Creations mod called "Builder" by Nahruuk. This mod allows decorations to clip and merge more than normal. This should be the trick!

@@skyriminspace 😂 Yessir! A MUST HAVE mod is Better Ship Part Flips by rux616. That mod allows you to flip most of the vanilla parts in many new orientations, and it includes decorative versions of some of the components like shields, fuel tanks, and weapons so you can get really creative with details like greebling. Tend to use decorative shields exactly for greebling or communications systems and whatnot. And being able to flip most of the parts is just an absolute gamechanger. And if you do download rux616's Better Ship Part Flips, you also have to download his Better Ship Part Snaps which adds new snapping points to the vanilla parts so you can do offset/halfstep merges

Man I really appreciate it! Always happy to share inspo! So since you found the mod list now, one thing I do want to mention is that I am using one paid mod in Avontech Raceyards by kaos_nyrb, which gives me those angled wings on the side. That part comes either as an engine or a structural part, and I'm using the engine version (Class A with 180 top speed and a ridiculous amount of maneuvering thrust). If you're worried about paying for the mod, then I would recommend using Avontech Shipyards, which is free and also by kaos_nyrb. The structural parts have TIE Fighter style wings that are available in two different sizes.

And then there’s a separate Decorative Engines mod by Sadyr-Machiba as well. BSPFlips doesn’t have decorative engines for some reason. These decorative engines come with a whole bunch of extra flips too
