hi vasu the thing you mentioned about nimcet for non cs students is only eligible for those who had math's in their 12th or bachelors . ONLY the thing is i too am interested to do mca but i didn't had math's in any of those( 12th= pcb, bsc=physics) , after a lot of research in various colleges, my only option is to go for private colleges, my dream for top colleges unfortunately could not be fulfilled but lets still carry on. dont know what the future holds. anyway i sometimes wonder that can non math's background students doing mca can still get to work with tech giants if they work on their skill with consistency ( its difficult but doable)?

Yes it's true, maths at the UG level is compulsory for NIMCET but I think you have maths in your BCA in some other form like statistics or discrete mathematics or maybe business mathematics.

Both can be possible but doing MCA is always a good option if you are going into the CS field by not doing BTech. because until and unless you have some strong open source contribution or you have done internships in some big companies or in short you have achieved something big in the CS field, companies will ask you do MCA or masters first
