I think they stood a good chance. Only red flag I saw was her being fresh from a breakup but she seemed mature so I'd assume she isn't out here on rebound purposes. They had a couple of things in common. Pity she said no. She was just too self conscious. Who noticed she held her breath when he was checking out her picture? She was relieved he liked them. But She totally misread the air and was being the average Lagosian as she said; self preservative. Anyway I enjoyed their conversation. They both have great personalities. Also I don't know but she wasn't really asking the kind of questions that she wanted answers to. Most of her questions seemed to be centered around trying to know if she was his spec. If she was curious about what he did why did she not just ask because he asked her. It wasn't his fault, dude was an open book. She should have just asked whatever she wanted to know. And this is a lesson for us ladies. The first few dates are not just about you trying to impress your date, they're about you trying to find out if this is someone you would like to hang out with again. So try not to worry about the impression you're making and focus on gathering information and learning whether this person still deserves your presence while you're allowing them get to know you too. This understanding usually shifts the energy from you to them and makes for a more natural, less performance pressure atmosphere for you during the date. I strongly believe she said no because she assumed he was uninterested in her.. imagine her watching this and realizing she was wrong. Lastly shout out Peeker. This is definitely my favorite show from Nigeria. I feel like most of the dating shows springing up in Nigerian KZbin now learnt or were inspired by you guys.

She's too self-conscious and intentionally engaged less even though she claimed to love having conversations. Who goes on a blind date when they are uninterested in building new friendships or new relationships? She said a lot of things she wanted, but she wasn't any of those things.

I just felt she wasn't asking him back some of the questions he asked her and they were great questions which would have given her a great chance to get to know him a lot more. I get you though if by engage you meant she didn't ask the right questions to get the answers she wanted. I was really taken a back when she said no and the reason she gave? All I could think about was maybe she is insecure from her recent breakup because I couldn't understand how she didn't see that they seemed to be such a good match.

I think you are definitely unto Something about her recent breakup...I don't think Homegirl is emotionally ready is what I see, especially if her last relationship was long,I think she is ready to just have alot of Fun from the freedom of not being anything to anyone , whilst the guy is full on ready so she was sort of bored,she even kept interrupting him,cos homeboy was sounding very intentional and ready and she just wants someone who sounds like high fun to match her current wavelength...might be a case of right person ,wrong timing

I loved this episode even though I didn’t like the outcome. But I believe their lifestyle would clash since she’s very outgoing and him saying multiple times he doesn’t like girls that are in quote “everywhere”. Maybe that put her off 🤷🏾‍♀️. The conversation was good. She is a very good communicator and knows how to express herself. He is a very cool guy as well. I believe if they had met they would be good platonic friends.
