Hypothetically the age gap would be fine since they're both (I assume Ballister is anyway) over thirty but she *is* literally older than the ground he stands on so it's a little iffy. Regardless though, their dynamic is great and I don't know why anyone would try to change it. Also, notably, the fact that she takes the appearance of a younger teen makes the idea very weird and not in a good way

@vinokai3 ай бұрын
It’s a table saw, most these days are built with a saw stop, when your skin/flesh makes contact it completes a circuit that slams a saw stop(it’s basically a chunk of metal) into the blade forcing it to stop, you’ll get a nick or shallow cut at most. Seeing how advanced their society is, I wouldn’t be too surprised if that saw had one.

Fun fact: There's actually a mechanism called a SawStop Emergency Brake that essentially uses the electrical conductivity of the human body to trigger an emergency brake system that's fastened below the blade on most modern automatic saws to prevent it from dicing your limbs to pieces! However, due to the sheer speed of it, if you ever trigger it you have to immediately get it replaced because a majority of the time it becomes unusable again after it's initiated! I don't have the greatest understanding of the specifics but its a quick KZbin search away if that interests you to look further into it. That being said, considering the futuristic fantasy setting its not out of the question for this universe to have the same or a similar stopping mechanism. Definitely a power move and very in-character for Nimona, as it subtly shows that they are either fearless and very strong, to a point where the metal completely stops and cant even tear into their skin, or due to their chaotic energy intentionally made the blade less safe on purpose by triggering the breaking mechanism, or both.
