As a Nepali, I personally respect his efforts related to #HimalArohan. What he has achieved so far is truly admirable and respectful. However, this doesn't give him the liberty to do whatever he desires based on the name and fame he possesses. Allegations such as sexual harassment along with others aimed against Nirmal Purja should be investigated objectively, properly and comprehensively by independent commission before jumping into conclusion. Purja should be given a right to defend against all the allegations before branding him as harasser or even other allegations. Rajendra Bajgai who had spoken in the parliament against Nirmal Purja should also be investigated whether his allegations are substantiated with the evidences. If Bajgai is making a false allegations with ill motives, then he should be brought to justice for deterrent purposes or else the parlimentarian will have a free hand and speak against anyone they do not like. Such vendetta should be stopped at all cost or it leads to chaotic and immoral parliament house.

While there is probably other businesses trying to take down Nims, by looking at all the things that people have been posting about him, I am pretty sure he is a playboy. So most likely guilty about the things written in NYT, Maybe he thought the girl was into him too not sure. How come you did not mention this law: As of May 29, 2024, Nepal's law does not permit dual citizenship. Section 10(i) of the Nepal Citizenship Act of 2006 states that any citizen of Nepal who voluntarily acquires citizenship in another country automatically loses their Nepali citizenship.
