I was at a pro wrestling show recently, and an instrumental of this song was the entrance theme for one of the wrestlers. A bunch of us in the crowd happened to be Nine Inch Nails fans and began singing the lyrics. After the show, he was interacting with folks and mentioned that he heard people singing the lyrics, which meant a lot to him considering it was his debut in the company.

Trent is an amazing an example of someone who did something unique and it created magic. Remember, his first album came out in the 80's when rock hair bands were on top. None of that mattered to him. He did him and look what he has created! It's 2021 and he is still here as strong as ever.

This song has a special meaning for me. It is on the soundtrack of a racing video game, Midnight Club 3. I remember playing late at night and this beat came in clutch as my Aprilia Mille Factory caught a big air on a highway of the game's version of Detroit. It was such a good feeling I had to pause the game as the bike landed just so I could get the song's title. To this day I never had such a beat-to-heartbeat experience like that. Thanks.

Trent is a true icon. He and Nine Inch Nails made Experimental Music cool. You know, when people asked me what my genre was, I told them: Experimental / Hip-Hop, for years. Then I realized that title isn't "cool," and when I changed it to "Alternative," more people gave my art a chance. It's funny how humans have preconceived notions of things based upon the word that defines them. Moral of the story is: never change what you do; just call it by a different name and they'll accept it for what it is.

What if this whole crusade's A charade And behind it all there's a price to be paid For the blood On which we dine Justified in the name of the holy and the divine Just how deep do you believe? @@torianholt2752 See Moby's video for "Extreme Ways," there's something similar there. He's another musician who plays everything, a la Prince, Dave Grohl (the first FF album), Tony Martin (although his solo music is not so great), etc.

I'm a minority male living in NYC. I come from the hood. Was born and raised there. I was never into rap or hip hop. I always loved metal, rock and death metal. N.I.N and Mushroom head have been my favorite bands since a child. This type of music blasting in my headphones makes me feel powerful and motivated. I love it I love it. I just need to fight the urge to rip someone's head open when the best drops. ^_^

Time to play this, have a concert on top of the House in Washington. Time to literally clean the House and blow the roof off. I am no minority but was raised in a ghetto, and I learned its just people trying to live their lives in a situation that hardens the heart, being preyed on by gangs cops drug dealers.

Nine Inch Nails Lyrics "The Hand That Feeds" You're keeping in step In the line Got your chin held high and you feel just fine Cause you do What you're told But inside your heart it is black and it's hollow and it's cold Just how deep do you believe? Will you bite the hand that feeds? Will you chew until it bleeds? Can you get up off your knees? Are you brave enough to see? Do you want to change it? What if this whole crusade's A charade And behind it all there's a price to be paid For the blood On which we dine Justified in the name of the holy and the divine Just how deep do you believe? Will you bite the hand that feeds? Will you chew until it bleeds? Can you get up off your knees? Are you brave enough to see? Do you want to change it? So naive I keep holding on to what I want to believe I can see But I keep holding on and on and on and on [8X] Will you bite the hand that feeds you? Will you stay down on your knees?
