Taking out braids will give you a similar texture, or twisting up your hair overnight. I've done that before. Maybe you haven't seen enough black dudes with braids.

If you got some liquid latex then you can make any look that comes to you!! I do hate living in such a small town that my makeup fun only happens around prom and October - but, god damn is having liquid latex a life saver! Throw some on with some toilet paper or paper towels / cotton balls and using basic makeup powders / lipsticks, you can make just about any scab / burn / gory look you can imagine.. love the stuff!! Best purchase I've made in the last decade!
