Allow me for the late response (and long response lol) to your video. I'm not sure if everyone noticed that Nina sang I'll be back and Attention with the original key, I mean the male key which is 3 ~ 5 lower than usual female key. Nina could sing male songs with original key, that is rally amazing. For example, Heart Beat of Mako team was changed the key higher, so that they can sing. Off course Nina sang 1 octave higher than the original key, but that means she can sound at least 7 ~ 9 keys higher and 3 ~ 5 keys lower than the usual female. She is not only good at high tone, but also low tone. I'd like to add one more point. The highest part of Attention she sang after her breath-out that was an arrangement of Nina. I watched the original m/v of Attention, but such high tone part didn't exist. It is just the guess of mine, but she might be able to sound more than 4 octaves. If someone can sound 2.5 octaves, we can say that the person has a good range of voice. It is said that Mariah Carey can sound 7 octaves, but that never be a true. I think that around 5 octaves is reasonable. No human can sound 7 octaves lol. Well, what I wanted to say was that Nina has an amazing wide range of voice. Let's keep watching Nina is going to be a great singer worldwide.

Sorry just saw this. This is a pretty good analysis by the way but you had one mistake. A Human can sing more than 7 octaves but not in the high note range. For example Tim Storms who has the deepest voice ever has a vocal range of 12 octaves. G5 to G-7

Tbh her high notes are quite painful to hear... not very pleasant and sharp to ears. She kept doing the same thing until JYP literally told her to stop showing off her high notes without putting deeper thoughts into her performances. I actually respect JYP even more for noticing that and pointing that out to her. Well, now she's in NiZiu im sure she'll get better control of her voice after more training. Cant wait for their debut.

Yup! She was my fav during NiziU project and what you said is true. She didnt exactly didn't know how to control high notes and during dtna preformance it was almost a scream and JYP is doing a great job noticing this. Now that she has proper training and is a group she is inproving constantly!
