This was another classic era in DT history. loved the "Six Degress Of Inner Turbulence" era of Dream Theater,they looked really happy and fresh. No matter how good Mike Mangini is,the chemistry the band had with Portnoy was just absolutely classic. And for the record I really respect Mike Mangini. I just really miss this era,good times. They created an epic album back then.

HOLY SHIT! Jordan playing the old Kurzweil, and he has hair!
@ChrisHaspeck12 жыл бұрын
of course this video was taken during Jordan's second tour with DT - way before any of us realized how truly amazing Jordan is as a player. By far the most technical of the entire DT group. MP even says during the 20th anniversary video that they barely get to scratch the surface of his real talent. see you on the Road Jordan \m/

and he is the greatest keyboardist who ever lived. perhaps the greatest pianist who ever lived.

As a keyboardist (or at least a wannabe), it was Jordan who showed me how powerful a keyboard can be, I admire his knowledge on how to tweak every single sound and combine them, I guess the key here was patience. He is a true wizard, a sound alchemist

What a great set of videos. Thanks! I've seen all the stage production stuff first hand as a support artists to bands such as UFO and Extreme, as a musician it makes me even more hungry for it to understand the mechanics of putting in a show and tour. It's very addictive and exhilarating. And after all that, they get to perform as well. Awesome!

I want to see Myung's bass world too! >:( Probably he didn't want to show us :(, but I still love him :D

he's so kind... but i can't understand the fact that rudess is so nice and kind while he's making all this insane (but awsome) keyboard sounds...he's like a nice scientist during the day, but at night and onstage he comes to be the psycho scientist haha

When Rudess plays at 2.10 its very reminiscent of the Octavarium keyboard solo.

Dude go read some proper articles before coming up with such stuff. They never kicked him out,their time for touring with MP was limited. On top of that He wanted to go back to DT but all the paper work was done,all the legal issues were completed,Mangini was selected and so DT's lawyer didn't allow it to happen. Get your facts straight.
