I did similar-Traveled from NY to KY almost 900 miles miserable car ride just to see them at Music Festival-I wish they would come closer to NY-East Coast because we missed first half hour or show anyway & they were headliners- Missed ENTIRE restcof Festival but was HAPPY TO SEE THEM BUT WANT TO SEE A FULL LIVE SHOW UP CLOSE & PERSONAL SO BAD

@You Need People Like Me oh man, I'm really so sorry to hear you traveled so far and missed most of it. Dammit!! I am genuine sorry for that. THAT TOTALLY SUCKS!!! You're awesome for the effort!!! I'm so glad you saw some. I hope you receive a chance again and I hope you get front and center. I've traveled 600 miles on a emergency brake!!! In a small truck, and my head tilted cuz I am too tall. I was miserable!! But the other girl was heavy and wouldn't fit. So being a good sport, plus going to see Jimmy Page with the Firm, and Paul Roger's on vocals. I was willing. But man my body was killing me so bad. I had a small towel to pad the brake. I'd switch butt cheeks. Crank my head different ways. I was saying get a hotel NOW BEFORE I KILL YOU BOTH!!! I was MISERABLE. Don't be picky about a hotel please. I must get out. We went day before. This was about 1984 and I was about 17. I must say I'd go thru it again for Jimmy. But I'd die of pain. Lol ✌️ 😆 🤘🤪

I was so mad when I found out after the fact that NIN along with Ministry and Nitzer Ebb were at Blossom. Had I known I would have flown back just for the show. Being there was for that show was special in so many ways. Among them, NIN was part of the lineup for the first Lollapalooza tour at the same venue and it was funnnnn. Amazing performance, letting Rich do Hey Man Nice Shot was a huge surprise loved it I wish he'd been onstage for Piggy since that song was about him leaving the band lol See that guy on stage with a camera? he's a professional who's recording this show at a super high quality so you can watch it later. I don't understand what drives people to go to a once in a lifetime concert and watch most of it through a cellphone screen so they can record a terrible quality video of it when it's being professionally recorded anyway... Put your damn phone away and enjoy the show (Yes I realize the irony of my statement considering where this KZbin video probably came from)
@AdamMillerStudio Жыл бұрын
"See that guy on stage with a camera? he's a professional who's recording this show at a super high quality so you can watch it later." No, he's a professional capturing the video for the screens. While it would be awesome to get more than Wish released from them officially for this show, NIN fans learned LONG ago that we can't rely on the band to release footage of shows. "watch most of it through a cellphone screen" many filmers in the community hold their camera below eye level so they can watch and enjoy the show normally while also having a recording for memories/the fans who couldn't attend. Best of both worlds, enjoy the show AND have clips/video for the rest of their lives. Unless they're actively impeding someone else from enjoying the show, why complain?

i would be moshing like crazy, coming out at the end covered in blood and bruises and happy as fuck...are american audiences this calm? seems strange to me...
@smahring Жыл бұрын
You have to understand the venue.. Blossom only has a tiny pit in the front no more than about 10 rows deep, everything else in that pavilion is bolted down seats. Theres is no room no thrash around, and the lawn has been taken over with lawn chairs. Its purely a showcase venue now. If it was Rocket Field House or Wolstein, you bet there would have been pits everywhere!
@marisgoldenhour6212 Жыл бұрын
That particular venue doesn't lend itself to much moshing. The rows closest to the stage with bolted seats are a little snug and the entire area beyond the seats is all lawn space. Must of that taken up by blankets, lawn chairs and merch/food/beverage/etc tents around the perimeter. Also, many of us in the same age bracket as the band, did all that when NIN first came on the scene. Lol.
@330devans Жыл бұрын
You should stick to small venues or places that have open space for that. You don’t understand the blossom music center setup. Being American has not a thing to do with it. 😒
