Not the Actual Events was my least favorite EP, (Burning Bright fav track), but these last two releases have been home runs in my opinion. Violence and Witch are two proud moments I will always remember. I found NIN in early 2009 but only started really listening in 2012 starting with TDS and working my way up. Hesitation wasn't the most memorable album ever, which was the only one I was around to see get released until these three projects which I just have to say I really really love.

as a new fan, i was afraid to look at these newer concerts, because a lot of aging rock artists like to downtune for the sake of their voice and ruin the original spirit of the song. glad that isn't the case for nin. my respect for trent has risen that much more

Captain Rex “Nothing special in his vocal from the beginning so what would be special even if he sings the same he used to be?” - From a shitless slave region of humanism being suffered under hoon-tribe-originated-parasitism and kiki'she' collectivism which is known as the name 'Korea', whose dwellers always steals and begs from Japan's original history which clearly inherited sincere humanity in Ancient Cudara more than its 'original' dwellers in hometown.

Most shows his voice is better than it's ever been. Sometimes he's a guy in his 50s who has been screaming for more than 30 years, but most of the time his voice is just fucking beautiful. Can't believe I'm still hearing him sing new ways (God Break Down The Door) after all this time.

Noiseheads call me what you want but I cry a little every time I hear this. I’m telling you, NIN has been therapy for me in bad times. Just the sheer emotion in their songs, specifically this one, let me build the confidence to let it all out emotionally. Trent Reznor has been, and always will be, in my top list of best industrial artists along with Al Jorgensen and Marilyn Manson.

So many things to say about this show. First off, they sound just fucking great. Wish his voice was mixed higher at times, but I can also appreciate the assemble quality of having his melody back a bit. Never realized before how much this band relies on the bass player, Cortini. (?) His lines are in many tunes the only principal note happening, while the guitarist and keyboardist twiddle about in effect-land, (well). The whole aesthetic of basic lights and just the band really looks like a fucking rock show, and not the recent Disney-world version you see so much of these days. And the cameras on the stage with him, whether they are filming or not, add a great surreal element, fame commentary or online recorded living, whatever, it kills. Blue light moments around 21:00, simple yet awesome. I hope these folks just keep touring forever.

I saw NIN in Eurockéennes 2 weeks ago. Some men near me didn't really know NIN and asked themselves about what kind of music it could be. One said he knows "hurt" and said it's kind of pop rock. Then the show began, Trent began to sing "Somewhat Damaged" kindly like in this show during the first 15 seconds....and then, storm of bass, drum, distortion during 1 hour 20 min. At the end, men were KO! Fucking biblical show!

And after more than half-way through the show, I haven't heard one note that they didn't at least cue manually. "Closer" has some awesome stark moments - where the bass is just straight out front and the keyboards background twitters and flurbles. So good.

I finally figured it out around 50:00. Bass player backing vocals are too loud, he's singing fine, but it isn't mixed right. Still so good, and what a set list. Just prime cuts. The backing singers sound good thought, right on around 1:01.
