La Mer and Just Like You Imagined go so well together

Saw them on this tour. Having watched live footage from before, i now know that this was a live pinnacle. Trent's voice was strong and the band were locked tight. I also love Danny Loehner and view him as NINs Simon Gallup

cyril Pesce whatever that means I am presuming it’s brilliant. Wish I could speak Spanish! Love NIN.

Dr. Dryadma I was trying to be humorous mate. Showing off my vast Ignorant Englishness toward any language that we don’t understand. I can translate the comment in question easily enough. I’m not that thick!... ...”I brought some souvenirs from a curtain rail thank you NIN very much I love engines”. Call me Thick once...shame on you. Call me it twice...shame on...you!? Love NIN. Saw them a few weeks ago In London. Ilan Rubin is nuclear. Standard Genius NIN performance.

Dr. Dryadma...and if you don’t get that then you’ll never understand English wit. We think this sort of thing funny. Humour of fools perhaps.

Dr. Dryadma Cool. We are a strange species of strange aren’t we. This rate we’ll do ourselves in faster than the dinosaurs ever did...as the Great Perry Farrell said. Gotta laugh really. Somehow.

No, You Don't here made a whole new perpective, classic

Right? It has a different energy here than the album. The entire tour was a weird, beautiful blend of hazy intoxication and visceral live performances. I think this song represents that well here.

Plus the guitar breakdown is something we don't hear much from this song live much.

The original guitar was done by the guy from Helmet, so that might be why

@@ruairimusic2747That’s pretty cool if so but it also seems like the man isn’t sure if he did contribute to that song as it seems to be only rumored for now. He did say he laid down some guitar riffs but whether or not it’s No, You Don’t will remain unanswered. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some inspiration

@@NWOWCW4Life1 Hamilton contributed to the now defunct Tapeworm project and is rumored to have also played guitar on "No, You Don't" from Nine Inch Nails' The Fragile.' its on the wiki, but I don't know if its accurate. Its not hard to believe because the riffs are so unique compared to the rest of the album. but it could very well not be him

So, this show was part of the European leg of the Fragility V.1.0 tour (Atari Teenage Riot supported). It ran from November 14th 1999 & ended with two shows at Brixton Academy, London on November 29th & December 1st 1999; both of which I attended. The infamous overdose resulted in the cancellation of NINs apperance at The Lost Weekend Festival; due to take place on July 1st 2000. That show was part of the 2000 European Festivals leg of Fragility V2.0 Tour. The tour started at Glastonbury Festival on June 23rd 2000 & ended on July 9th at Monza Rock Festival. During that leg NIN played a shorter, more aggressive set compared to the rest of the Fragility Tour.
