Wow, I'm not sure what to say. I'm glad that something I am doing can have a positive effect on others in some way, that's all I've ever wanted from sharing them here. It can't be easy to be homeless and I'm lucky that I've never had to experience that myself. Just remember that life is fill of ups and downs, better things will come. Stay strong!

I'm worse than homeless.. I'm at my mother's (after a year of no contact and trying to get away geographically). They caught me though. I listen to this cos she literally replaced me and my brother. He died and I'm just crap to her or something. She's got this surrogate son/partner/I don't know what.. He's 50ish and she's 80ish. Why the age gap? I saw him for a few nights.. In 2019/20. He's been around for nearly five years now!! He just uses her cos he's got no money. She buys him tobacco, liquor, food, clothes.. *sigh* (it's not worse than homeless btw).

I enjoyed being homeless, but I wasn't sober for any of it, and you don't need a home if you stay awake for years.
