Time to stick with the Fragile journey you're on. I bought Downward Spiral in 1994 when I was 12, the first CD i ever bought with my own Money. Later i discovered the intense 1992 EP Broken and finally 1989s Pretty Hate Machine. I was now getting desperate for a new nin album that never came in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998....so I gave up not knowing they were about to release the 2 disk CD the Fragile in September of 1999. I finally heard it in 2001/2002 to give it a chance. Had no idea what i was in for. Something that I consider easily a peak moment in the nin history. And when you listen to the tracks a second time, you'll begin to see how the tracks are ten times better on the second listen. It kept getting better the more you listened to it. Easily their greatest contribution ever...and the downward spiral easily the greatest dark concept album that is a storm of experimental genius. The Fragile is one of a kind and both disks are full of the greatest work ive ever encountered from them to this day. Just remember, you think you like it now? Just wait till you play these tracks again wether you're at home or cruising in your vehicle. I include one EP in the album top album rankings. 1. The Fragile 1999 2. The Downward Spiral 1994 3. Broken (EP) 1992 4. With Teeth 2005 5. Year Zero 2007 Everything album after was nin exploring other ideas which bands should do. He wins a few Oscars for best original score to nominated films at the Academy Awards. Now im hearing their old sounds and approach from the old days are making a comeback on their next release. I will be looking forward to that. Please keep up with the roll you're on with The Fragile. Greatest most mature and dark, very sleak tracks on both discs. Any songs that u might not like will be in the minority.
