db4tw I'm pretty sure Trent over-saw the last-minute re-edit that ended up becoming the official video.. Pellington wasn't too pleased about his video being changed up last minute, especially as Trent supposedly never told him about it either.

Though Trent is good at what he does, he's something of a perfectionist when trying to find his specific vision, or so I understand. Not sure what the story is here, but between either wanting his version or a shorter version is up to debate; but I'm going to opt for the idea that it had to be shorter for video play. Though much of it is shot in different ways however, I would almost say it's a bit of column A & B. Just two cents.

I think Trent's edit is tighter. This one's extended intro is nice, but beyond that, I didn't see anything that made it feel more energetic. The scene with Trent's lit face in the tunnel was downright bizarre and almost made me laugh, because it looked like he was barely able to see over the crowd. Also I'm confused by the description because neither of the versions have a woman in a red dress?

He spoke of how he is not good at making videos himself and has to have faith another artist will see his vision right, and it was a reminder he needs to read the manual for his camera (so he can make his own videos).
