Words cannot describe how beautiful this is. This is actually breathtaking, and an amazing remix. It feels like rehearing the song for the first time all over again.

This is by far the most beautiful song that I have ever listened to. The lyrics are so deep and you can tell that he means them, that they're straight from his heart.

Zero's and One's line is referencing computer programming. Basically saying there is no god and we're just a program. Kinda like the Matrix.

I'm lying here in bed, at 02:31 am, listening to this masterpiece. It makes me want to stay awake for another four hours so that I could go outside, find a small hill, and then just listen to this song whilst I observe the sunrise. Songs like these put a smile on my face and reminds me about how blessed we are to experience 'life'.

@AArdW01f There is some music you can't mix better. Trent Reznor is one of these musicians. Thank you but I don't agree. ;) It's an interpretation of what the lyrics says, it's this moment of dieing and I tried to describe this moment with some sweet Pads. But I didn't change the melody. So it isn't better than the original cause it was Trent who wrote the lyrics and the melody. Further my remix would never fit into the Year Zero-concept. So thanks again but it's still not possible.

Thats how trents style usually is: harsh and biting, even for his slower tempo songs. Its not bad at all, just his style really, all purposeful and planned.

Listened this so much in January 2020. Couple of before-the-storm weeks. All who knew their shit knew covid would become a pandemic. Nobody knew just how serious a disease it would end up being. ' This is by far my fav version of the song. I like it much more than the actual album version.

@splittermusik I'm sorry I didn't make myself entirely clear before -I was referring to your previous mix of this track on youtube. I can't even compare this to the original nor would I. Year-Zero is as you said a concept album that tells a story with tracks not meant to stand alone (although they certainly can). I completely agree that no man can do justice to Trent's music like the big man himself. Again great improvement from your last track, I'm sure Trent would dig this. Cheers
