I suspect that he doesn't really believe the shit that he spews, which is something that a lot of villains share. In reality, all he really cares about his HIM being on top. Just like Thanos, his actions contradict what he says he believes in.

@ThePurpleKabuki His stated philosophy was the strong shall rule on top. Deku and Bakugo are strong, ergo they should rule on top with him. If anything, if he truly believed in what he spewed, he would have tested the kids to see their strength, with the possibility of conceding the position at the top of his new society to them if they managed to prove themselves. That's how a villain who truly believes in such a philosophy would handle the fight, but Nine does no such thing. Instead, he's just hyper focused on killing anyone and everyone who gets in his way, even if they're proven to be exceptionally powerful. It's like when Thanos decides that he needs to kill the universe to save the universe. Turns out he's just a murderous psychopath, and saving the universe was just his justification for killing people while seeing himself as actually compassionate. In actuality, the both of them just wanted to be the ones to rule. Nine himself was so weak that he couldn't even use his own quirk without hurting himself, and he needed artificial surgery to make him powerful, yet he talks as if he is the strongest in the world. Hell, he has to know about All Might!!! His whole thing about having the strong rule on top is just a poor excuse for him to justify himself being on top, regardless of who is actually the strongest.

ThePurpleKabuki rule 101 of character building is to remain consistent to a characters motivations. What the previous person was mentioning was that he disregarded the philosophy which motivated him. Therefore Nine is seemingly a major hypocrite. Yes he doesn’t have to adhere to our own understandings of his philosophy, but thats an entirely moot point when we are bringing up the characters actual stated philosophy. We’re not the ones imposing rules into the character, we’re just the one bringing up the rules of good writing. Which is something you clearly don’t understand

In your upgrade costume videos, you could give Ashido a whip that she can fill with acid and the handle has a button that opens tiny holes in the whip to make the acid come out. How would (before meeting Izuku) All Might react if Izuku somehow stole All for One? He’d likely want to train Izuku as to prevent him from becoming drunk with power. Katsuki would’ve shit himself if that quirkless Deku somehow stole a quirk from a villain. All for One and Shigaraki would be pissed that a quirkless kid stole the quirk and would see Izuku using it for good as a perversion of AFO’s quirk. Even though I know Thieves can Be Heroes exists. What would’ve happened if the events of the Persona games occurred in the MHA universe during the time of MHA? I bet that Stain or the League of Villains would likely be targeted by the Phantom Thieves. I bet a Shigaraki whose heart was changed would likely kill most villains in an attempt in his twisted mind to atone for his actions. Even burning the LoV’s base.

Love you content! Keep up the great work! When it comes to nine’s quirks though, I don’t think all for one counts as one of his 9 quirks. I think all for one allows him to gain 8 additional afterwards. Also the quirk identification thing cannot be a part of all for one because if it was he would have known his younger brother wasn’t quirkless. And I think those air blasts he shoots are part of his weather manipulation quirk, I remember it being explained in the movie that nines original quirk allows him to control all weather kinda like storm from the X-men which means he could definitely shoot those air blasts with his original quirk. There’s even a chance those air shields are part of it too but I doubt that one

To be perfectly honest the villains in Heroes Rising were way more interesting than the villains in Two Heroes. I happen to like the designs of Chimera & Slice the most, cause one: I have a thing for redheads. And two: I have a thing for anthropomorphic looking characters. And the fact they were indeed OP and were able to give the heroes some trouble. That’s what really made me like this film.

Shigaraki definitely values his league idk if that extends to the additional forces but the vanguard id say so. Shigaraki wants to bring down hero society similar to stain but based on different reasoning. And the deeper I look into it, it’s a lot more deeper than it appears on the surface. Overhaul had the best thought out plan and motive tho.

Also I believe that 9s quirks are foreshadowing or hints at what Dekus other quirks might be like. For example the plant quirk where he shoots seeds out of his finger are like his finger lasers, the two monsters coming out of his back are like black whip, the fact that 9 can fly with weather control is like Float. The brief fight with Bakugo and 9 may also be foreshadowing how the Deku vs Bakugo rematch may go after Deku has gotten full control of his multiple quirks.
