The cartoon was a venue that had alot of protection so to speak, noone messed with the cartoon because of the bikers and metal heads. West Croydon was actually quiet for street drama for the majority of the time, now its full of little wannabe gangs and the shops that act as a front for hard drugs are free to do as they please. A real shame.

That place always had large group of metal heads and bikers in there. The locals supported it too as it catered for other forms of music too. Interesting theory.
