@@WilliamChu-zd8cr I have a problem, I am a Max G2 user. It has been almost 45 days since I bought the scooter and I have used it for 479 km. There is a gap in the shock absorber of the scooter. This causes the wheel to move approximately 0.5cm from side to side and back and forth, independently of the handlebars. As far as I know, it is normal for the front wheel to have some play. Is 0.5cm normal?

yes, the G3 is using the physical bell and also a digital speaker that you can customize the sound for horn and turning on/ off the scooter

it's 48V with 2000W max power, top speed is 45km/h for the US version. but yes...if you are an Euro user, our speed is strictly limited by EU regulations...still 25km/h for the G3E version

597Wh 48V, with new flash charge technology you can fully charge it in 3.5hrs (if you use dual charger, it's going to be even faster, in 2.5hrs). and G3 support our new external battery as well. so you can have a nearly 1100Wh battery power all together.

The problem is there's so much that can go wrong with that suspension. Give it a month of use and I guarantee something is gonna break. If they have any product that they need to make more of and that is the max g30lp. That scooter is the standard at which they should operate and manufacture. My nine bot is a trooper, i've ridden it and rain snow.Extreme heat, and this thing is truly a remarkable piece of technology. The problem with these newer models is they have a lot more features but also at the same time a lot more that can go wrong. I encourage the designers to focus more on simplicity and think back to a model that I can tell them is absolutely battle Tested amazing. Just my two cents from a very thoughtful ninebot customer. 🎉

Nah, segways are built like tanks. 2k+ miles on max G2....Zero issues. Love this scooter. Can't wait for G3!!!

Bla bla bla... Over 20000km on g30 on multiple devices had a whole lot of probs xt60 connector when factory changed components mud guards always break , trigger , brakes, stems On my g2's I'm at like 11000km only changed one internal brick ofcourse overheating probs at the beginning nothing more ( there is a missing screw on the internal brick added it on my 2nd scooter no need to change it) Oh yeah i was missing front bearings...

what is so complicated about a basic fork suspension? it's not adjustable, there's no articulation either

thank you for the feedback. yes, the G30lp is our most rewarded and best selling product ever. but trust me, we are building the G2 and G3 under the same quality control process with the G30...emmm...the tests are even tougher these days actually. Quality will always be the top priority for segway products.

Still single motor ? seriously ?... this is the reason I'm selling my old G2 for a dual motor model (yume hawk), it's too slow for long travel and really struggle to climb slope The scooter is really nice, comfortable and all, but it's far too limited in speed and power...

thanks for feedback! the key reason for G3 is still using single motor is the consideration of weight. we still have many user saying the G2 is too heavy, so we have to control the total weight. but compare to G2, the new G3 has much more power, its top speed increased to 45km, and the max power is now 2000W(twice than G2). besides we have designed a boost mode for the G3, let it to accelerate from 0-25km in 2.4Sec. and it can also help you with climbing a 30% slope. and we are seriously thinking of developing a dual motors version of "G3 Pro" for the US market, for users who are seeking for more power. emmmm...but if you are an Euro user...I'm sorry the speed and power are strictly limited by EU regulations

thanks for the feedback! the new front suspensions system on G3 is a dual hydraulic fork, commonly seen in high grade mountain bikes or motor cycles. we have tested it for 50k km and it works amazing~ it's still the most durable and most reliable type of suspension so far. actually we tried the front ">" type rubber torsional suspension(same as Xiaomi 4 ultra) during development. and we have found a potential issue with it. It has poor stability when you wiggle the handlebar during riding. And we made the same mistake on old P100s as well... because with this kind of ">" type suspension, every time you compress it, the trailing distance will get smaller...and with a mass behind the front wheel, they both reduce the stability. that‘s the reason we have adopted a more matured and more market-tested type of suspension. hope i answered your question

@@saiv46 they have a page up already, it's below 25kg the G2 is basically an overbuilt rental scooter so there was room for improvement, the battery is only 10% higher capacity edit: the frame is aluminium so that's how they shaved off a lot of weight

new G3 is 24kg, even slightly lighter than the G2, thanks to its full Aluminum frame reduced a huge amount of weight, so we can put better motor and suspensions~
